So, here’s the deal. Today’s video was supposed to be something else entirely—full of flow and movement. But, alas, the tech gods (because what else can we call them?) had other plans. My recording equipment decided it would rather play hide-and-seek with the audio than cooperate. So, in true Indian jugaad style—flexibility on and off the mat—I’m reposting one of my popular wrist-friendly yoga videos. This time, it’s got a few fresh edits and an even stronger focus on keeping things light (yes, literally light on your wrists!).
Now, you might be thinking, “Why a wrist-friendly yoga practice?” Well, first of all, who hasn’t felt the burn after one too many planks or downward dogs, right? Especially if you were with me last week, working through that upper body strength-building flow! For anyone with sore arms, or wrists that decide to go on strike at the thought of bearing weight, this session is a gift for your body. No chaturangas, no planks, and definitely no arm-trembling-downward-dogging (I’m just making it a verb now, okay?). Just pure, energizing, hands-free goodness.
When we say “yoga is for everyone,” we really mean it. Whether your wrists are protesting or you’re simply not in the mood for arm balancing, this practice is here to honor exactly where your body is. Today’s flow is about acknowledging your limitations, embracing them with kindness, and then finding what works for you. Remember, yoga is all about listening to your body.
Join me today for this soothing yet strong practice that prioritizes how you feel in your body—whether your wrists are ready to join or not.
